A downloadable game for Windows

Step into the Avalon, where all are welcome...

Avalon is a 3D isometric short story game in which you play as Madame Wilma, the owner of a small underground bar in a 1920s-inspired fantasy setting.

Madame Wilma

The Owner of the Avalon, an enigmatic fairy who cares deeply for others of her kind. While fairies are persecuted in this world, she decided to build a space for them with her bar, the Avalon.

Willi

A Regular at the Avalon, he likes a good drink and his peace. He may not be the most approachable gnome, but he appreciates Wilma and the Avalon, even if he doesn't show it.

Edgar

A new guest. He is very shy and doesn't seem to like showing his face, maybe because he looks so very inhuman?

Bodo

Another one of Wilma's regulars. He is a death omen and quite paradoxical and maybe even frustrating to our host, but they go back a long way.

Avalon was created as my 5th semester project studying at the HTK academy.

Great Atmo! The musik was fitting and I realy love the distortion effect when you look through the walls.

hehe thank you! Figuring out that effect was a challenge because I did not know what it was called (It's Wall Occlusion)

As short as it is, this game is truly delightful. The atmosphere and aesthetic are so comfy and warm, playing this game felt like being engulfed in a tranquil hug. Each character felt full with their own personalities and were a joy to interact with. I do hope that there may be more of this little universe in store for the future, as I would love to see a growing narrative to this storyline, however, if not; I simply say well done and thank you, for creating such an endearing short experience. Keep up the good work :)

Wow! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! It truly means a lot! Avalon is in fact sent in a world I am building as a personal project at the moment, so there is a chance you might see more. For now you can check out my game Wolfsong, which is technically set in the same world as well.

That's amazing to hear! Can't wait to see more from this world. I've checked the page for Wolfsong and have added it to my 'Interested in Playing' collection. It looks very beautiful and I look forward to playing it :)

I did a video on Avalon if you'd like to experience my complete adoration for your game; it really was a joy to play x
